Emporia Native Clint Bowyer was disappointed with his 12th place finish last Sunday at his home track, the Kansas Speedway.
With seven races to go in the Chase for the Sprint Cup, CB knows that he has some ground to make up, and the only way to get back in the hunt is to lead as many laps as possible.
"You gotta go out there, try the best you can, try to win the race, try to lead all the laps, that's all you can do," Bowyer said.
Bowyer currently sits in seventh place in the Sprint Cup standings.
He's 164 points behind leader Jimmie Johnson.
The series is at Talladega this weekend.
Green flag on Sunday drops at 1:00 and that race can be seen right here on 49 ABC.
