KCK native Maurice Greene passes this week's "Dancing With the Stars" test

Kansas City, Kan., native Maurice Greene is alive on "Dancing with the Stars."
Greene, an Olympic gold medalist who once held the 100-meter world record, is among nine celebrities on the ABC dancing competition.
The other celebrities remaining in the competition are model-actress Brooke Burke; former Oakland Raiders defensive lineman Warren Sapp; singers Lance Bass and Toni Braxton; chef Rocco DiSpirito, actresses Cloris Leachman and Susan Lucci and actor Cody Linley.
Greene was the dominant sprinter of the late 1990s and into the new century. He set a world record for the 100 meters in 1999 and won the same sprint at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He announced his retirement this summer.
