USD 501 gets academic progress reporting wrong

Topeka Public Schools is admitting it made a mistake when adding scores for No Child Left Behind.
The district announced Tuesday there were some scores that were accidentally left out of the original report.
With those scores included, none of the high schools in USD 501 made Adequate Yearly Progress or AYP this year.
The Kansas Department of Education and Topeka Public Schools are taking steps to make sure this doesn't happen again.
