The Topeka Police Department announces a new e-mail access that allows citizens of Topeka to send an e-mail directly to Code Enforcement.
The purpose of the e-mail account is to centralize electronic communication between the public and the Code Enforcement Unit. This communication option will enhance the flow of information to the Code Enforcement Unit used in conjunction with the central phone number of Code Enforcement which is 368-3161.
The e-mail account will be accessed by the unit supervisor. Personnel complaints will be addressed by the supervisor and property complaints will be assigned to the appropriate inspector.
If a citizen wishes to make a property complaint and wishes to remain anonymous they can indicate that in the e-mail. The supervisor will remove identifying information from the e-mail before forwarding to the inspector.
The e-mail is cleancity@topeka.org
