Kansans are learning how to be a little healthier.
Washburn University hosted its first ever wellness event today.
Twenty-six exhibitors took part, teaching how to make our lives better.
It's something one expert says Americans don't think enough about.
"Most people just think wellness is fitness, and it's very important that people realize you can be the most fit person in the world and not be well," Washburn employee wellness coordinator Celeste Ehrenberg said.
Part of that is social wellness.
Ehrenberg says people are so busy with work and family that they forget to take some time just for themselves to be social and have fun.
