Meth lab busted in Pottawatomie County

A 44-year-old Wheaton, Kan. man is behind bars following a drug bust in Pottawatomie County.
Law enforcement served a search warrant at 216 Lincoln St. in Wheaton at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday. Sheriff's deputies found items associated with manufacturing and using methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as a quantity of both drugs. Camera and surveillance equipment was also seized, according to a press release from the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment were called to assist in the removal and cleanup of hazardous materials associated with meth production.
Michael B. Willis was arrested on the following charges: Manufacturing meth, cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp and eavesdropping.
Bond is pending at this time.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.
