Sleep Survey: Facts and myths about getting your ZZZs

Worrying about finances is one of the number one thing keeping people up at night.

And Americans get an "F" when it comes to knowing the facts and myths about getting a good night's sleep.

Here are some of the things folks got wrong in a survey by sleepbetter.org.

76 percent of people surveyed thought exercise too close to bedtime inhibits sleep. But that's a MYTH.

Only 26 percent surveyed thought counting techniques can help you fall asleep, but that's a FACT.

69 percent thought trying to fall asleep with the TV on can keep you from sleeping but that's a MYTH.

So don't turn the channel!!
