Topeka's peace pole represents people from around the world

People of all nationalities came together for one common purpose, peace.

This pole represents people from all over the world.

There are six sides, and each one has the peace prayer written in a different language.

For each language represented, a person read "May peace prevail on Earth" in that language.

There are more than 200,000 peace poles in 180 countries around the world.
