NASCAR is in the Sunflower State this weekend for the Camping World RV 400 at the Kansas Speedway.
Clint Bowyer has faired pretty well at his home track.
Last year, the Emporia native finished second in last year's cup race, and he finished fourth in the nationwide series race.
CB says that it's always fun to come back home.
"Every time I go back there, you know, growing up as a kid, driving by there as they were building it then, going to the first race there and watching it and all of a sudden the next thing you know, you're pulling in there for your first time and actually racing. It's just a really cool race track, it's very special to me and I love going back there," Bowyer said.
They are bunched up at the top of the Sprint Cup standings.
Bowyer is only 106 points behind leader Carl Edwards.
You can watch the Camping World RV 400 right here on 49 ABC on Sunday. The green flag from KCK drops at high noon.
