The Emporia Spartans are one and two on the year and have been on either sides of blowouts in all their contests this year. And on the other hand, the Washburn Rural Junior Blues are two and one and their last two games have been decided by a total of eight points. The final score of tonight's contest was 35-24 Emporia.
Holton didn't waste any time getting off on the right foot in their homecoming game as they welcomed Nemaha Valley. Holton went on to win it by a score of 41-to-20.
The Hayden Wildcats hosted Seaman tonight, and Hayden sinks the Viking's ship, 37-6. The Cats remain unbeaten.
Somebody must have forgotten to tell Topeka High that they were on the road because they were schooling Highland Park in the game of football tonight. The Trojans rolled in this 69-6.
Staying in T-town, Topeka West hosted undefeated Manhattan, and the Indians take this one big time, 28-0.
Silver Lake traveled to Wabaunsee, and pasted them, 77-0.
Staying out on High 24, St. Marys hosted Rossville and beat them, 21-13.
