K-State's Big 12 opener to be televised on ABC

The Big 12 Conference season opens on Saturday for the Kansas State Wildcats as they welcome the seventh-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders to Manhattan in a game that will be televised by ABC. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. on Harley Day at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
The matchup will be broadcast live on ABC with Ron Franklin handling play-by-play duties and Ed Cunningham serving as the analyst. Jack Arute will provide updates from the sidelines. The game will also air live across the Kansas State Sports Network, online at k-statesports.com and on SIRIUS satellite radio (channel 125).
Oct. 11, K-State takes on Texas A&M. No word yet on whether that game will be televised.
