Police arrest Deep Pockets owner on illegal gambling charges

A Topeka business owner faces five felony charges following a raid at his business located at 4310 SW 21st St.
Deep Pockets owner Frank Antonelli was the target of an "extensive" investigation into commercial gambling, Topeka Police Capt. Jerry Stanley said. He would not say how long the man had been under investigation.
After a search warrant was served, authorities seized poker tables, poker chips, documents and money from Deep Pockets Monday night, Stanley said.
Topeka Police officers and Shawnee County sheriff's deputies were assisted by members of the Drug Enforcement Agency and Alcohol Beverage Control.
Stanley said no other arrests were made.
What is commercial gambling?
Commercial gambling is:
(a) Operating or receiving all or part of the earnings of a gambling place;
(b) Receiving, recording, or forwarding bets or offers to bet or, with intent to receive, record, or forward bets or offers to bet, possessing facilities to do so;
(c) For gain, becoming a custodian of anything of value bet or offered to be bet;
(d) Conducting a lottery, or with intent to conduct a lottery possessing facilities to do so; or
(e) Setting up for use or collecting the proceeds of any gambling device.
