Manhattan The city of Manhattan wants residents to clean their sidewalks, or pay the price.
A city ordinance states that citizens have to clear their sidewalks of snow within 36 hours of the end of a snowfall. If they don't, the city will remove it and charge the property owner.
The city has already started citing residents for violating the ordinance.
Anyone needing help with snow removal can call Nick Arena at (785) 587-4588. You can view the full ordinance here.
