Manhattan residents need to clear sidewalks of snow or pay the price

— The city of Manhattan wants residents to clean their sidewalks, or pay the price.

A city ordinance states that citizens have to clear their sidewalks of snow within 36 hours of the end of a snowfall. If they don't, the city will remove it and charge the property owner.

The city has already started citing residents for violating the ordinance.
