Topeka "Billy Elliot" is the hottest Broadway show of the season and Sunday night took home 10 Tony awards.
27-year old Jeff Kready is a member of the show's ensemble, and got to perform live on the Tony awards broadscast.
"It's such a rare experience to be a part of such a tremendous production and then to get all the critical acclaim and win all the awards," said Kready. "It was a dream come true. That's all I can say about it."
Kready and the cast were treated to a cast party celebration at Bobby Flay's restaurant in New York, hosted by Elton John, who wrote the music for the show.
This is Kready's third Broadway show. He's a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and Washburn University.
