Heartland Visioning trying to improve Topeka's image

Heartland visioning is working to improve Topeka's image. Heartland Visioning Task Force met to discuss how people in the community perceive the city's image.

They also talked about where they want Topeka's image to go, and how to achieve that. Heartland visioning's goal is to make topeka a place where people want to live, and bring in visitors. "People think about doing things they think other places other than Topeka, but what we heard was the positive response. What we heard in here is people saying things that we want to be the place where everyone is friendly and the history in the community because it's very vibrant and very rich," William Beteta, Executive Director of Heartland Visioning, said.
