A 56-year-old man was injured this morning at about 9:30 a.m. after his head came into contact with a live overhead power line as he worked from a "cherry picker" lift at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 134 NE Lake.
A second person in the bucket was uninjured.
Fire personnel said the man was talking following the accident. Fire personnel said visible burns on the upper part of his body.
The man was transported by AMR to St. Francis Hospital.
