Two Clay Center law enforcement officers will not face charges after fatally shooting a man who showed a plastic gun.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says the officers used justifiable force when they shot and killed Ronald Hughes, 66, on June 14th.
The officers, who responded to a domestic dispute, shot Hughes after he pointed a gun at them.
The gun turned out to be plastic.
Both officers are back at work.
