Plays and premiere parties are just a few of the things you can do in Topeka tonight.

"Grease" is the word and the place to be tonight at Topeka High. The show starts at 7 p.m.

All seats are $8 at the door or in advance in the THS Main Office.

If you want something more epic, check out Topeka West's presentation of Homer's "The Odyssey."

Or perhaps you want something with more of a twist? Check out "Gone with the Breeze" at Landon Middle.

The two-act musical begins at 7 p.m.

It tells the tale of Luce Belle Bankhead's sensational new novel and its newly inked movie deal. Peggy Tempest thinks she has the lead role in the bag, but her diva attitude forces the producers to form a plot to keep her in line. In another twist, Peggy starts suing when she learns the studio didn't have the rights to the book to begin with.

Finally, for the adult Twi-Hards in Topeka, there is a "New Moon Premiere Party."

Join the party at the Matrot Castle for wine and hors d'oeuvres at 7 p.m.

Then, the group will head to Hollywood Theaters for the 10:10 p.m. showing of "New Moon."
