An Oklahoma company issued a recall for approximately 110,730 pounds of frozen beef steak fritter products Friday.
The products, made by Advance Food Company, may contain foreign materials. Customers have complained of finding pieces of plastic in the product.
The products subject to recall include: 9.75-pound bulk cases of “ADVANCE FOOD COMPANY, Beef Steak Fritter, For Country Frying, Chopped & Formed, Keep Frozen, 13/12.” The cases are labeled as "EST. 2260Y" inside the USDA mark and a code of "9462-100." They have a "Best if Used By 9/23/2010" sticker. They are of lot "N0239." These cases are not available for direct purchase and were distributed to restaurants nationwide.
At this time, no one has been injured.
