If you like your movies a little edgier, stop by the Slash and Bash Film Festival.

This year they're welcoming Special Guest Adrienne Barbeau for the 5th annual sci-fi and horror film festival.

You can come to the Holidome tonight through the weekend to meet the legendary actress and watch classic movies and films that frighten.

Adrienne stopped by today and gave us a preview of what you can expect at the festival tonight.

"A lot of fun and a lot of entertainment, and some great films that they won't be able to see anywhere else," says Barbeau. "At 9:00 we'll do a Q and A about 'Escape from New York,' actually I'll answer questions about anything, but we're going to be screening 'Escape from New York.'"

It was such a treat having Adrienne Barbeau in Topeka today that Mayor Bill Bunten issued a proclamation declaring September 25th as Adrienne Barbeau day.

The proclamation kicks off the Sash and Bash Film Festival.
