Topeka — The Community Blood Center needs donations.
They're holding a blood drive Tuesday, February 9 at Gifts from the Heart - Topeka, Community Blood Center in the Donor Room, 800 SW Lane. The drive runs from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Donors can register to win prizes, including gift certificates for flowers and jewelry.
The Community Blood Center says it needs to collect at least 580 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of the area.
