After so many delays, their flight actually arrived early into Kansas International Airport on Sunday morning.

The O'Byrne famliy is finally reunited with their children. After so many delays, their flight actually arrived early into Kansas City International Airport on Sunday morning. The family says they can't wait to get the children home and show them how much they are loved. A close family friend and missionary, Esther Vincent, was with the O'Byrne children from the time the quake hit until they made it home to Kansas. We will bring you the full story Sunday night on 49 News at 10.

I am so "crazy happy" as Alecia would say! This reunion has been so very long in coming. What a miracle! God has done something only He could do!

Thank you Lauren Seabrook for following this story. I am a childhood friend of Alecia's in Ft. Worth, Texas. As things got so frantic after the quake in Haiti, I could see Alecia's face, feel her and Tim's pain, cry for them and pray for them, all the way down here in Cowtown. I've been able to re-share the story to old friends all over the country. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

There are so, so many more children stranded in the adoption pipeline. I know of a contact of Alecia's waiting for their son, Jacob Samuel McIver, to be able to leave Haiti and reunite with the McIver family. His paperwork may be in the bottom of the rubble there in Port au Prince. My prayer is that the US government and the Haitian government will give emergency status to the orphans already in the pipeline. If they don't the other orphan children and their families may never see this beautiful Reunion Day!

Thank you again, and again for sharing this beautiful story! I hope that President Obama sees this story, is touched, and takes action. He has the power to help make this happen for many other families.

Lauren, thank you so, so much for very well done coverage!

I have followed this beautiful story of the way God has united the O'Byrne's adopted Haitian children with their family in Holton. I am a family friend from Alecia's teen age years in Fort Worth and know what a warm and loving person she is, and I think Tim must be the same. I have prayed with them as this process has finally come to pass and I thank you for sharing this story for all to see how God does work miracles.

There are so many children who have been orphaned by this terrible earthquake, and I pray that the way might be clear for many of them to be adopted by parents who would welcome them into their family and love them beyond measure.

Thank you again, Lauren, for following this family as they were united with their Haitian children!
