Oz Museum has props used in Wicked

The Oz Museum in Wamego recently received some one of a kind items.

Boots and props used in the Broadway play Wicked, a popular show about Oz before a tornado dropped in Dorothy, are now on display at the museum.

The museum director says she just emailed the play's composer and they sent her a box full of goodies.

Another addition to the museum, a very rare first edition, first state copy of The Wizard of Oz.

"I think a lot of people don't know that we do go through the exhibits and we change items out, change things around, bring out new stuff," Oz Museum Director Mercedes Michalowski said. "We're constantly adding things in and so that makes the exhibits change. That gives you something different to see each time you come back."

The museum also received part of Warren Buffett's daughter's Oz collection this summer.
