Cloudy with a few showers around tonight. Brisk east winds of 15-25mph will combine with temperatures falling to the upper 30s to make for wind chills near 30 by morning.
By Saturday, rain will begin to change over to snow for the northwestern counties early Saturday, then gradually spread southeastward. Snow amounts will range from 6"+ in Republic Co., 2-5" in Cloud, Washington and parts of Marshall Co., to near 1" from Clay, northern Riley, northern Pott., Nemaha and Brown counties. Farther south, only a trace to a dusting expected as the system winds down Saturday evening.
By Sunday, back into the sunshine with highs in the lower to middle 40s.
