A Topeka woman says she fears for the safety of her two children tonight. Their father walked free after he was found guilty of repeatedly raping and sodomizing a young girl. 49's Crime Tracker team is on the job to protect you and your family. Tonight we're tracking a steady increase in auto thefts in the Capital City. New jobs are headed to Emporia. The city beat out Topeka and three other cities to become home to a new plant owned by Hill's Pet Nutrition. The state is putting a dollar amount on the damage done by last month's severe storms. The City Council has started the process to demolish a historic landmark, but says anyone who wants to buy Sumner School must "show them the money."
