My 10-year-old female doberman has several small bumps all over her body. They have been there for several months and do not appear to be getting bigger. A friend told me that they were the doggie version of skin cancer and that there was nothing that could be done. Is this correct? She has had regular vet treatment. -- Richard, Topeka

Is there a doggie equivalent of Ritalen? My puppy Daisy, gets freaked out when she hears people walking outside of the apartment. I've tried distracting her with treats, and I've tried playing fetch, but it sounds like she really wants to take a bite out of the noisy people on the other side of the door. I understand since he's only a year old, that he's still young, but I can't even leave the room without him ripping up something. How can I tell if my cat is too fat? I feed her a measured amount of food (per the directions on the bag) and she still seems to gain weight. She is totally healthy otherwise, but I just wonder if there's any way to tell when I should start worrying and force her to diet. She does act like she's hungry all the time. Any advice?
