Hey Dr. Trupp, My new dog Nash has a bad habit of chewing things up around the house. He thinks everything's a toy! I understand since he's only a year old, that he's still young, but I can't even leave the room without him ripping up something. I try not to crate him when I home since he gets crated enough when I'm at work. What can I do? -- Blake, Meteorologist with Channel 49, Topeka
Blake, PICK UP YOUR PLACE OF RESIDENCE! You need to get all thing up that the puppy is not to chew on. Find the fun thing that you will allow him to chew. Pet toys are best, so he does not get confused about what item he can chew. Kong toy and cube are best to pack with treats to interset them in the right item to chew. Thank you, Dr. Rob Trupp
