Falestine Afani Ruzik is the web editor and a multimedia journalist for 49 News.

Falestine (her friends call her Fally) is a Kansas native, but her 11 years in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia have given her unique insights into international relations.

A 2003 graduate from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, Falestine got her first broadcasting ‘gig’ as a radio disc jockey when she was 17. Since coming to KTKA, she has become the web editor and enjoys promoting the station through a number of social media sites.

Falestine also writes a blog for KTKA.com called I heart local music.

In her spare time, Falestine rides her scooter, works as a DJ, plays any instrument she can get her hands on and listens to electronic music with her husband, Joe.
