Gena Terlizzi is the anchor of 49 News' Good Morning Kansas.
She started out as the statehouse reporter, covering the daily happenings at the Kansas Statehouse, and even occasionally writing for the Lawrence Journal-World.
In October, 2007, Gena took over the anchor desk for Good Morning Kansas.
Gena is excited about her new role as Good Morning Kansas anchor, and she’s looking forward to what’s in store -- even if it does mean getting up at 2 in the morning.
Gena earned her bachelor’s degree at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
