Jessica Drew

Jessica Drew is a reporter/photojournalist with 49 News in Topeka, Kan.
She grew up in the South; she was born and raised in Georgia.
She was a college cheerleader and enjoyed being on the edge of competitive cheerleading. She has spirit and is the type of person who sings at the top of her lungs, even though she can’t carry a tune!
A few of her hobbies included working out, running, reading and studying languages and cultures. She became passionate about news early on and realized that she can join her love for people and news together in the field of journalism.
Jessica is new to the community. She says she likes it in Topeka because the people are friendly and very welcoming. Jessica loves meeting new people and is happy to be here and call Topeka home.
