One of Jessica’s passions is meeting and talking with people about issues affecting them, their neighborhoods and the city. Helping the community through her reporting and being a member of Safe Streets are just two of the ways she contributes to making Topeka the safest capital city.
When not at work, Jessica stays active with her love of the outdoors and runs, rides four-wheelers and cooks. She adopted a dog, Grace, from Helping Hands and the two can often be seen at the Bark Park. If you see them, stop by and say “hello,” and don’t forget to email Jessica your story ideas.he
