Lindsey Elliott joined the news team in 2008 as the Manhattan Bureau reporter. In April 2010, she expanded her role as the 49 News Weekend anchor.
Lindsey grew up in Salina, moved to Manhattan in 2004 and graduated from K-State with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism in December 2008. She originally wanted to major in biology, but caught the journalism bug and quickly turned that love into a career.
Living in Manhattan makes it easy for Lindsey to attend K-State football games. She also loves movies and is currently spending a lot of time training her new dog, Bronson.
