Second body recovered from the Kansas River
After a day and a half of searching, rescue workers have pulled a second body from the Kansas River. It's believed to be the body of 30-year-old Richard Heyroth. He was a teacher at Shawnee Heights High School, who worked one-on-one with kids who needed extra help to improve their grades. The body was found on the south side of the Topeka Bridge, around 7:30 Tuesday morning, less than two days after Heyroth and another boater went missing in the river. Finding the body wasn't the only challenge. 49 News reporter Natasha Trelfa shows us what it took to bring the body out of the river.
