For all of you who are concerned our country right or wrong was founded with the belief you can say anything, because we have the freedom of speech. While I do not agree with the Phelps, because I myself am a soldier I understand the right to beleive what you'd like to.

Right wrong or indiffrent they have the right to beleive and talk about what they believe no matter how it makes you feel.

On One local woman stands up for Topeka amidst Ledger tragedy

The problem does not start here it starts with people who can not afford to have children having them. They now have no day care and no money to pay a different daycare. I believe this is so sad, because it's really the children who are going to suffer because their parents did not properly prepare for the birth of children. If you can not afford to have a child then don't. I had a little girl when I was young, but made sure I had a job and was prepared to care for her. I'm sure I'm going to get lot of angry responses to this, but before you snap back please try not to wipe your conscience with me. Just remember that people need to be responsible with their lives and then lives of their children. If you have to draw support to live on, because you could not with out it then maybe you should not be having children. Your kids and you deserve more.

I would all drivers should have their eyes peeled and be on the look out for children in the street. Kids can pop up anywhere. I would also like to say he could have avoided his head injury if he had been wearing a helmet. He should have also had lights and reflects on his bike to protect himself. I have been in the ER for a number of years and can say children and thier parents who take these precautions are much less likely to end there.

I feel sorry for the dispacther since I know it is a hard job to do and you don't always have all of the facts. I think everyone in this case should just be happy the child only suffered minor injuries.

This is a one call of the thousands they get daily. Please remember they serve a whole county and I'm sure if she could turn back time she would. We all make mistakes, some bigger then others but we all humans and until computers take our jobs their will be human error. I would be very upset if someone wanted me fired, because I made a mistake.
