I don't know if she was going to pay them in cash when they arrived why didn't she take that cash to them when the check bounced. Seems pretty simple to me. When you give a service you expect to be paid. She should feel lucky they could be charging a lot more. I would not have cashed a second check either. Why take a chance of more fees getting socked to you. If she has the money in the account get a cashiers check and give it to them.

I don't know either of these people, but when I have my car worked on I don't pay until it is fixed. I think there is always 2 sides to a story, but once again getting everything in writing and save yourself a lot of head ache.

THe Phelp Cult is out of control. Two years ago the stood out side our church and called my then 8 year old daughter a filthy wh*** as she went in to the church to take her first communion. He is the David Koresh of Kansas. Every year he gets a little more out of control. I can see it leading to a riot or something I think the only thing keeping it from happening now is the coward puts his kids on the front line to to his dirty work.
