Riley County cutting D.A.R.E. program, leaving elementary schools feeling a void

The Riley County Police are just saying no to funding for the D.A.R.E. program. RCPD evaluated the program and decided to cut it from Manhattan schools and hope that the $76 thousand in funding will go to other agencies that need it. 49 News Manhattan Bureau Reporter Lindsey Elliott explains why police officers and school principals don't see eye to eye on the effectiveness of the program.
