Snowy weather making travel dangerous

Strong winds and continuing snow are making driving a risky choice.

Winter storm warnings issued

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for most of the 49 News viewing area until 7am Sunday morning

Snow will continue overnight and make driving conditions dangerous. Temperatures will fall to near 30 degrees by morning. The snowfall will continue through the first half of tomorrow and taper off during the afternoon. Highs will be in the low/mid 30s. Snowfall accumulations will range from 2-4 inches between Concordia and Marysville, 3-5 inches around Manhattan and Junction City. Near Topeka we will see 5-8 inches with the highest amounts souteast of Topeka.
